Role Overview
Carrier is hiring an experienced Account Manager to lead business development, strategic account management and major-project pursuit activity across the UAE district cooling market. The role combines commercial strategy, technical solution positioning and long-cycle relationship development with district cooling providers, developers, consultants and EPC contractors.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a UAE district-cooling growth plan and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline with accurate sales forecasts.
- Identify strategic projects early, qualify opportunities, influence technical requirements and equipment selection, and track projects through specification, tender, award and execution.
- Build executive, commercial, technical and operational relationships with district-cooling providers, developers, consultants, EPC contractors and other market stakeholders.
- Create strategic account plans, understand customer investment priorities, expand existing accounts and pursue framework agreements and long-term partnerships.
- Promote Carrier solutions including centrifugal chillers, district-cooling plant solutions, advanced controls, optimization, digital analytics, energy-efficiency solutions, long-term service agreements and lifecycle services.
- Develop value propositions around reliability, efficiency, sustainability, lifecycle value, low-GWP refrigerants and total cost of ownership.
- Lead proposal development, bid strategy, negotiations, workshops, presentations and industry engagement while coordinating internal sales, engineering, product, service and commercial teams.
- Maintain market intelligence on competitors, consultants, developers, utilities, infrastructure projects and emerging district-cooling opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in HVAC, district cooling, utilities, infrastructure, energy or related industries.
- Proven sales, business-development and strategic key-account experience, including complex B2B sales and long-cycle project pursuits.
- Strong understanding of the UAE construction, infrastructure and district-cooling market and experience with providers, developers, consultants and EPC contractors.
- Good technical knowledge of district-cooling plants, chilled-water systems, centrifugal chillers, plant controls, optimization, energy-efficiency solutions and HVAC systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships with major UAE district-cooling providers and operators.
- Experience in strategic selling, specification management, framework agreements and integrated HVAC or energy solutions.
- Understanding of sustainability, energy efficiency and lifecycle solutions.
