Role Overview

Oncology pathway-coordination role ensuring cancer patients move through their clinical pathway in a timely, organised manner across multiple services and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and sequence clinical interventions across the cancer pathway; understand current and future patient requirements and act proactively to keep the pathway on track; monitor progress with consultants and nursing teams; escalate deviations; organise and support MDT meetings across gastroenterology, breast and oncology services; liaise with clinical and administrative teams; maintain high-quality administrative processes; and work with clinical governance on risk, quality and safety improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, current DHA health-professional licence, and recent experience in an appropriate service environment within the last three years.

• Cancer pathway coordination, multidisciplinary-team administration, patient-flow monitoring, escalation, clinical governance, data/administrative quality and cross-department communication.
