Role Overview
Quality-management leadership role responsible for sustained readiness of quality systems, improvement programmes, regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and periodically review the facility quality-improvement programme; coordinate implementation and evaluation across sections; identify trends and priorities, reduce duplication and support JCI compliance; build systems for performance data collection and analysis; use patient feedback, complaints, incidents and care issues to recommend improvements; lead quality teams; supervise daily section work, workload and performance; identify training needs; provide practical staff education; and act as a quality and safety expert on committees.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Six to eight years of progressive relevant experience in a similar role, including three years of supervisory experience. Experience in a large healthcare facility is preferred.
Skills
- Quality improvement, accreditation readiness, performance measurement, data analysis, patient-safety governance, team leadership, training and change management.
